"Facebook is recently becoming very overpopulated" Hoax

Recently I received this Hoax message in Facebook inbox that Facebook is now overpopulated due to inactive users and they want to close those inactive accounts,  Original message I got written below.

Dear Facebook Members,

Facebook is recently becoming very overpopulated. There have been many members complaining that Facebook is becoming very slow. Records show that the reason is that there are many active Facebook members and, on the other side, many new Facebook members.

We will be sending this message around to see if members are active or not. If you are active please send to at least 15 other users using Copy Paste to show that you are still active. *Those who do not send this message within 2 weeks will be deleted without hesitation to create more space.*

Send this message to all your friends and to show me that your still active and you will not be deleted.

To know the reality about this message I searched on the internet and found that it's not a new thing for internet users, this form of rumors started on the internet in December 1999 with Hotmail. The auto response message is set to answer the supposed cancelation. In September 2001 same things arise in different ways on Hotmail. In February 2003 new Hoax message hotmail is going to shutdown appears. In December 2006 it started with Facebook, again in the June 2010 new version of hoax message on Facebook.

Facebook is having great interest in having their system overpopulated; number of users means more money they make. If inactive users not going to login then they are not going to harm it, it’s all caused by illicit elements. Being a real human being we have to stop it through online promotion activities.
